Bruce Perrett
Dental Surgeon
Bruce graduated from the Otago dental school in 1979. He then worked for two years in Auckland before heading overseas to work and travel. He worked in the south of England for several years gaining experience in all areas of dentistry and sedation techniques. In 1989 he returned to Auckland and started working at Green Bay Dental in 1990. Since then, he has seen the practice expand from a small two dentist practice, to the busy practice it is today. Bruce aims to provide high quality dentistry in a gentle and caring manner. Modern materials and techniques enable us to provide painless dentistry and beautiful smiles. Bruce is married with three beautiful daughters. Bruce works Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm |
Rashid (Rush) BharuchiDental Surgeon
Rush graduated from Otago University in 1995 and after spending two years in Auckland, he set off to work in London. Since returning in 2000 he has combined working at Greenlane Hospital and Green Bay Dental. Rush enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing patients with the best options delivered with a friendly relaxed approach. He regularly attends numerous postgraduate courses, bringing to you the latest techniques and products. He is a member of the NZ Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and with all of his hospital experience he thoroughly enjoys tackling the tricky aspects of dental surgery(extractions). Rush is a passionate sportsman (go on, test his knowledge!) and enjoys keeping fit at the gym, playing football and tennis. He and his wife Rebecca have three children. Rush works Monday - Wednesday from 8:30am-5pm. |

Priyanka graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India. In 2018 she obtained a practising license for New Zealand and Australia. Priyanka has been here at Green Bay Dental since 2020. Priyanka has a very calm and gentle manner, friendly, loves to interact and strives for good quality dentistry. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in crown and bridges including implant supported restorations. She is a member of NZ Society for Sedation in Dentistry and is trained to provide IV Sedation. She is fluent in 4 languages - English, Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi. When she's not working Priyanka loves to play Tabla (Indian Classical Musical Instrument), yoga and spending time with her lovely family. Priyanka works with us Mondays 8am-4pm, Thursdays 8am-6pm, Fridays 8am-5pm & Saturdays 8:30am-3:30pm |
Dental Surgeon
Priya graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 1997. She worked in Private Practice in Hamilton before moving to Auckland in 2000. Priya is a member of the Auckland Dental Association and Auckland Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is fluent in English and Hindi. Her focus is on providing long term, quality dental care in a safe and caring environment. She is also committed to attending regular courses which help to keep her upskilled and updated. When Priya isn't working, she enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family. She is married and has two lovely children. Priya works with us 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Thursday |
Adam StevensDental Surgeon
Adam graduated from Otago University in 1989, and then after a year in Auckland, departed for his working O.E in London, arriving back to start work at Green Bay Dental in 1994. Adam enjoys practicing all aspects of Dentistry, with a particular interest in the safe removal of amalgam fillings. He finds the beautiful transformations in people’s smiles extremely rewarding with the Cosmetic Dentistry that he does. Adam has a particular skill in the extraction of difficult teeth when required, including the safe removal of impacted wisdom teeth under intravenous sedation for our highly anxious patients. Adam loves music, travel, the beach and his beautiful family. Adam works with us 9am-5pm, Thursdays & Fridays |
Rakesh JattanOral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Rakesh is a fully qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, completing his degree in dentistry in 2000. Following this, he worked as a dental house surgeon in Wellington before spending two years in Far North Queensland as part of the itinerant dental service with the Royal Flying Doctors (RFDS). He returned to Dunedin to complete his Medicine and MDs at the University of Otago. He then completed another four years of Advanced Surgical Training through the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) and then undertook a further three years of post-fellowship training in the UK at the prestigious Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, specialising in orthognathic surgery and the treatment of head and neck cancers, including reconstruction. He returned to NZ in 2017 and worked as a consultant at the Auckland and Counties Manukau District Health Boards, involved in the treatment of acute facial trauma, dentofacial infection, dentoalveolar, TMJ and orthognathic surgery. Rakesh is a very experienced and highly regarded surgeon. He enjoys teaching and charity work with organisations involved in the Pacific Islands. Rakesh works with us one Friday every month |
